I had my first bout of homesickness on the weekend... could have been from the very large hangover that I was suffering from... or more thank likely... it was caused by a longingness of the beautiful sandy beaches of home.

And then a my best friend sent me this picture of Sydney and I suddenly felt a whole lot better about my new 34 degree... 24% humdity home. (bear in mind it is still only the first month of Spring so no doubt my tune will change when Summer well and truly kicks in) Not to rub it in or anything, but the weather here in Dubai is just magic right now. The evenings are pleasantly warm and the need for sleeping in an air conditioned igloo are not yet upon me.... I'm loving it.

I heard a new version of a song that my mum used to play on vinyl over and over again when I was young. I can even picture exactly what the cover of the album looked like... here's a new and very fantastic version... i'm a big fan... It's a Dolly cover... and this one is for my Lukieeeeeeeeeeeee  and DANIMAL!!!
